Entrepreneurship 101: Starting A Business in the Era of COVID-19

Don’t let the COVID-19 pandemic deter you from your dream of starting a business.  Join us on May 5, 2020, to hear from the experts on how to establish a business and learn about resources available to assist you.

The Fairfax County Economic Development Authority (FCEDA), in partnership with the Virginia Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity (SBSD), the Community Business Partnership (CBP) and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), will present a workshop for those persons that are interested in starting a business. 

The workshop will provide an overview of start-up basics, business licensing and permitting information specific to Fairfax County, state and federal business certification programs, financing tools and capital assistance funding initiatives, as well as information about COVID-19 related business resources available in the areas of mentoring and financing.
