Panelists will discuss how the business community and educators are working to create career opportunities for Virginians through a diverse set of educational pathways. From work-based learning opportunities to on-the-job training and upskilling, the panel will explore the wide-array of approaches the commonwealth has for continuing to build a robust talent pipeline.

Panelists will discuss the crucial role that Virginia’s talented workforce plays in economic development and attracting employers to move and grow in the Commonwealth. IMPROVING ACCESS AND EQUITY IN VIRGINIA EDUCATION
Access to quality education is a key indicator for future economic success. This panel will explore the challenges facing our educational system and potential solutions to create the equity in educational opportunity that all Virginians deserve. The COVID-19 pandemic has also made apparent equity and access concerns regarding broadband connectivity for students.
