Speaker Series with Kerry Kennedy

This spring, we are pleased to welcome Kerry Kennedy, a world-renowned human rights activist and President of Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights. Kennedy works on a range of issues, including child labor, women’s rights, disappearances, indigenous land rights, judicial independence, freedom of expression, ethnic violence, criminal justice reform, immigration, impunity, and environmental justice. A lawyer and author, as well as a human rights advocate, she has devoted more than 40 years to the pursuit of equal justice, the promotion and protection of basic rights, and the preservation of the rule of law, and written the New York Times best seller Being Catholic Now, as well as Speak Truth to Power and Robert F. Kennedy: Ripples of Hope.

Bringing business leaders to campus, and to our students specifically, is central to our mission. Our Speaker Series brings social impact and sustainability thought leaders from top-tier companies directly to our students where they discuss the issues facing our world.

TurbineOne Relocates Headquarters to Fairfax County from San Francisco

Fairfax County, Virginia — TurbineOne, a defense technology firm specializing in AI-powered machine learning software solutions, announced today it will relocate its headquarters from San Francisco, California to the Chantilly area of Fairfax County creating 22 new jobs through a $424,000 investment.
