SBIR Week in the Southeast!: Agency One-On-Ones with Virginia Co’s

The 2020 Regional SBIR Weeks are virtual, collaborative outreach efforts connecting entrepreneurs working on advanced technologies to the country’s largest source of early stage funding – the SBIR/STTR programs. Also known as America’s Seed Fund, the SBIR/STTR programs provide over $3.7 billion in funding to small businesses each year in a wide variety of technology areas.

The September 14 Virtual Panel Presentations will be followed by four, day-long one on one sessions hosted by local organizations in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. Virginia-based co’s will meet virtually with agencies on Friday, Sept. 18.  These sessions will provide attendees with an opportunity to hear directly from the participating federal agency program managers that administer over 5,500 new awards annually and to meet virtually one-on-one with program decision makers.

Sept. 18 One On Ones — Virginia One-On-Ones with participating Federal SBIR Agency Representatives (20 agencies confirmed!).

You’ll have an opportunity to speak with up to 3 agencies virtually to discuss your project, better understand the agency, and discuss next steps! You must register for the Sept. 14 Webinar using the link below to set up your one on ones.  Registrants will be contacted by SBA reps to coordinate one on one appointments with participating federal agency representatives. Virginia based registrants will be given priority to sign up for Agency one on ones on Sept. 18. Note that registrants from North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia are encouraged to register through the appropriate state program links and to secure a one on ones with agency reps on special dates set aside for them (NC on 9/15, SC on 9/16, GA on 9/17). One on Ones will be from 9AM-4PM each day. For links, visit https://www.sbirroadtour.com/dates/2020-southeast/
