Drive For Veterans

We hope you’ll join us Friday June 25, 2021 to Drive For Veterans at the beautiful Fred Couples-designed Westfields Golf Club in Clifton, Virginia.

This year, for our 19th annual DATA golf tournament, The Dulles Area Transportation Association (DATA) has joined ranks with new co-sponsor, the Northern Virginia Veterans Association (NOVA Veterans). DATA is working with NOVA Veterans to address the transportation emergencies that so many of our most vulnerable veterans are facing. In response to that emergency, DATA has partnered with NOVA Veterans to build a program that can provide rides for these veterans in need, to medical and other vital appointments. While this annual tournament raises funds to qualify DATA for state and federal grants on a wide range of community outreach projects, this year a portion of the proceeds will be given to NOVA Veterans to fund their comprehensive support of our vulnerable veterans and their families.

At Westfields, Fred Couples has built one of the top destinations for golf in Virginia. This stunning Northern Virginia golf course is fun and accessible for the novice, yet challenging and thought-provoking for the experienced golfer. Fred’s professional play on hundreds of courses around the world, coupled with his experience in countless tournaments and team competitions, has given him exceptional insight into optimal golf course design.
