What is the most common mistake that entrepreneurs make when starting their company? Not having their contracts and policies in place. In today’s world all you need is the drive, creativity and a website and you can be in business before the close of the business day. But, have you protected your business legally by having the right policies in place and do you understand that contracts that you need to run your business? This class will give you an overview of the basic contracts/policies every entrepreneur needs to know of and understand, such as Founders Agreement (Operating Agreement for LLCs), Nondisclosure Agreement, Commercial Leases, Website Terms and Conditions, Website Privacy Policy, Confidentiality and Invention Assignment Agreement, Sales or Service Agreement. So, go ahead and start your business but don’t do it blindly. The more you know the closer you are to long-term success. This class is led by an attorney.
