Hilton Worldwide has once again been named the World’s Best Workplace by Fortune and Great Place to Work, marking a decade of recognition for its people-first culture and global leadership in hospitality. Headquartered in the McLean area of Fairfax NOVA, Hilton’s global hub continues to guide a workforce of more than 500,000 team members across 9,000 properties in 141 countries and territories.

“This milestone goes beyond rankings – it’s a reflection of who we are and what we’ve always believed: When we take great care of our people, they take great care of our guests. Our 500,000 team members around the world are united by a common purpose that our founder, Conrad Hilton, envisioned over a century ago: To fill the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality,” said President and CEO of Hilton Chris Nassetta.

This year’s recognition underscores how deeply Hilton’s success is intertwined with its culture:

  • 93% of employees worldwide say it’s a great place to work
  • 91% believe they can learn and grow
  • Nearly two-thirds of leadership roles are filled by internal candidates

These numbers demonstrate the company’s sustained investment in talent mobility and career advancement. New research commissioned by Hilton offers further proof that its values resonate far beyond the workplace. Conducted by Morning Consult, the survey found that:

  • 78% of U.S. consumers believe companies that take good care of their employees provide better products and services
  • 88% say that care is especially important for travel and hospitality brands
  • 75% of consumers report being more likely to recommend doing business with a company known to treat its people well

From its headquarters in McLean, Hilton’s influence radiates global-to-local job creation, innovation, and a culture of excellence that enhances the region’s standing as a world-class business hub. With nearly 20,000 new team members added worldwide in the past year and over 2.5 million career-growth opportunities created since 2022, Hilton exemplifies how Fairfax NOVA’s corporate leaders can shape industries, empower talent, and make a meaningful global impact.
