This session presents reminders and last minute tips to those who plan to submit to the October 2021 DOD SBIR/STTR BAA deadlines. After a brief overview, we'll allow all those in attendance the opportunity to submit questions to the expert consultant.
The NSF invests more than $200 million annually in their SBIR/STTR Program to promote the progress of science; to advance the national health, prosperity, and welfare; and to secure the national defense. This session provides viewers an overview of the National Science Foundation's (NSF) SBIR/STTR grant programs. In addition to up-to-date information on the SBIR/STTR programs, we'll take a deep dive into the NSF grant mechanisms, review how to navigate the NSF website and research projects qualities that would be considered Basic vs Translational, how to use web tools and how to avoid common pitfalls.
