Instructor Kevin P. Young has a long and successful history in the planning and execution of Marketing, Business Development and Business Management strategy, programs, processes and metrics across multiple industries. This includes SVP / VP roles for three FORTUNE 500 companies: LandAmerica Financial, Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) and Unisys; and management roles at two FORTUNE 500 companies: IBM and Gannett. Federal Government clients have included the Departments of Agriculture, Commerce, Defense (Air Force, Army, DARPA, DeCA, DISA, DLA, Navy), Energy, Health and Human Services, Homeland Security, Justice, State, Treasury, Transportation and Veterans Affairs; Intelligence Community; and Broadcasting Board of Governors, NASA, SBA and USPS. Kevin is Co-Founder of the Government Market Master™ Certification Program; and a Federal Government Contracting Trainer for Alaska, Colorado, Maryland and Virginia Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTACs); U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Development Centers; and GovConectx™ End-to-End Federal Contractor Support Services, Sales Boot Camps, Town Halls and Showcases. He is a 15-year Adjunct Professor of Marketing and Government Contracting for George Mason University’s School of Business.
