Restaurant Open Forum for Bailey’s Crossroads/ Culmore Businesses 5/18/21

Topic: Disaster Mitigation
You may have struggled alone to keep your business afloat during the pandemic, or you may have reached out to service providers in the area. Have you ever thought to share your lessons learned and best practices with similar businesses in your community? Instead of thinking of these as competitors, can they be collaborators?

To provide support to businesses who need it, Community Business Partnership (CBP) and the Women’s Business Center (WBC) (both affiliated with the Small Business Administration) are holding multiple open forums for different industries. This will be an online meeting with the simple goal of providing an opportunity for area business owners and managers to express their needs and learn about resources and support. We hope that you will make time to join us!

Tell us your top 3 business challenges. To help us prepare to address the actual needs and questions of the community, it would be very helpful if you inform us of your top three current business problems. This could be things like “marketing”, “access to funding”, “understanding PPP loans”, “planning for post-Covid business” or something else. Please do so be completing this 30 second Survey Monkey link https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/MRCBW2P

What to expect from the forum:
The meeting will begin with a short presentation on CBP and the WBC, including the resources that we offer. We will then discuss the issues and problems submitted by businesses in advance, followed by an open discussion of additional issues or problems that businesses would like to raise at the meeting.
Sponsored by CBP’s Women’s Business Center of Northern Virginia in collaboration with Bailey’s Crossroads Seven Corners Revitalization Corporation (BC7RC).
This program is made possible through funding by Kaiser Permanente.
