  • Crystal Stewart, Senior Tax Manager and Allyson Thomas, Tax Supervisor with DELEON & STANG  Crystal Stewart: Crystal joined the firm in July 2022 as a Senior Tax Manager in the Leesburg, VA office. She specializes in income tax planning, compliance, and review. Her experience includes an emphasis on tax and assurance services for government contractors, professional service providers, and non-profit entities. She also acts as a taxpayer advocate in handling inquiries from federal and state agencies. She began her profession in 2007. She has been named a Top Financial Professional by Northern Virginia Magazine for 2023 and named to Washingtonian’s 2022 list of Top Tax Accountants. Washington, DC’s Best Financial Advisors—Tax Accountants for 2022 and 2024. She describes herself as reliable, disciplined, personable, detail-oriented, and motivated. She is excited to share her experience with team members and to be able to work with our clients. She loves that D&S is committed to its staff and focuses on both personal and professional growth. She grew up in Temperance, MI, and currently resides in Reston, VA, with her cat Xander. Some of her hobbies are anything outdoors—she loves hiking, walking, and riding her bike. Education: University of Toledo: Bachelor of Business Administration and University of Toledo: Masters of Science Memberships: American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (VSCPA)
  • Allyson Thomas: is a valuable member of the DeLeon & Stang team, beginning her journey in 2019 as an intern, and has since been promoted to her current position of Tax Supervisor. Allyson specializes in tax preparation for businesses and individuals, as well as providing business consulting services to businesses in a variety of industries. Originally from Knoxville, MD, Allyson now resides in Boonsboro, MD, with her husband, Lonnie. Living on his family’s farm, they actively engage in breeding and raising Limousin show cattle. In her free time, Allyson pursues her passion for horse riding and spending time outside on the family farm. Education: Shepherd University: Bachelor of Science in Accounting (2019) Memberships: American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Maryland Association of CPAs (MACPA) Designations: Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
