Greater Washington Region Launches TalentCapital.ai

This week, Greater Washington leaders came together across jurisdictions, sectors, and missions to unveil TalentCapital.ai, a powerful tool designed to help our Greater Washington community pivot, reskill, and reconnect to career opportunities.

Housed at the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments and powered by Tysons-based BuildWithin’s AI-driven technology, Talent Capital is a bridge for those in the Greater Washington region navigating career transitions, connecting them to the training, coaching, employers, and jobs that reflect the future of work.

The Fairfax County Economic Development Authority is proud to stand alongside our partners across Washington, D.C., Virginia and Maryland in this effort. In Northern Virginia alone, there are more than 48,000 open jobs across 17,000 employers currently hiring. And through the incredible work of Northern Virginia Community College, George Mason University, and many others, displaced federal workers and career changers are finding new ways to build skills in AI, space commercialization, quantum, biotech, and digital infrastructure. These are the sectors that will define what’s next for our region.
