MTSI Opens New 90,000 Square Foot Facility in Lorton

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) announced the opening of their new conference center and office space in Lorton. The company started in 2019 with a 14,000 square foot facility and has since grown to over 90,000 square feet in Lorton.

MTSI is an engineering services and technology solutions company delivering first-choice capabilities to solve problems of global importance. Their mission is to make important, lasting contributions to the nation’s defense, security, and most technically challenging strategic problems.

AT&T Opens New Regional Hub in Chantilly Marking Major Investment in Fairfax County

Last week, AT&T marked a significant milestone with the official ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new regional hub in the Chantilly-area of Fairfax County. The five-story, 111,000-square-foot office building located at 4807 Stonecroft Boulevard in Chantilly at the Westfields International Center at Dulles now serves as home to more than 500 AT&T team members and reflects the company’s continued investment in innovation, collaboration, and the future of work.

“Thank you to our Fairfax County leaders and first responders. From streamlined permitting to being a trusted collaborator in testing new technologies, Fairfax has been a model partner,” said AT&T’s President of Public Sector Wes Anderson. “Our more than 500 AT&T colleagues working here deserve this modernized space because modernization is core to what we do. Drawing on nearly 150 years of experience, we modernize customer networks for more efficient, secure, and reliable communication. I look forward to what we can achieve together as we start this new chapter in Chantilly, Virginia.”

PUEO Business Solutions Brings Hawaiian Flair to the Tysons Tech Scene

Pueo Business Solutions set up shop at their new location at 1861 International Drive in Tysons, celebrating with a ribbon-cutting in May. Pueo provides comprehensive and innovative technology and consulting services in Cybersecurity Services, IT Infrastructure & Engineering, Software Development, Business Intelligence & Analytics and Advisory Services.

According to the company, “Pueo” translates to owl in Hawaiian and is intended to convey company culture – wisdom and guardianship. The pueo is one of the various physical forms assumed by ʻaumākua (ancestor spirits) in Hawaiian culture. Critical to Pueo Business Solutions is their reliance upon knowledge gained through study, experience, and application.

Labcorp Opens Largest Regional Diagnostics Laboratory in Chantilly

Labcorp a global leader of innovative and comprehensive laboratory services, announced in May the opening of a new diagnostics laboratory in Chantilly, Virginia.

The new facility is now Labcorp’s largest regional diagnostics branch, supporting more than 200 employees and receiving over 26,000 patient specimens each day.

“This new diagnostics lab reinforces Labcorp’s role as a trusted healthcare partner in the Atlantic region and beyond,” said Serena Guzman, senior vice president of Labcorp’s Atlantic Division. “As Labcorp’s largest regional diagnostics branch, the lab expands the reach of essential testing, enabling communities across the region to benefit from industry-leading laboratory services​.”

The 45,000-square-foot facility supports expanded services, including histology and cytology, and contains modern workspaces designed to streamline operations, improve efficiency and encourage collaboration. The new facility replaces Labcorp’s former lab in Herndon, Virginia.
