For the past 20 years\, he has made a positive difference in the lives of patients across the mid-Atlantic region. \nDr. Cheifetz is a leading educator as the Regional Dean of UVA Medicine Inova Campus and Director of the Inova Office of Undergraduate Medical Education. He has received several “Golden Apple” teaching awards and knows how to educate and motivate his patients to become healthier and more energized. He leads by example and his patients will tell you that “he gets it.” \nDr. Cheifetz has been an integral part of Inova and the Inova Fairfax Hospital medical staff for more than 15 years. He was recognized in 2012 for outstanding achievement by the American College of Physicians when he received the Walter J. McDonald Award for Young Physicians. He was also the 2011-2013 Chair of the AAMC Group on Regional Medical Campuses\, which represents the interests of regionally located medical schools in the United States and Canada. The selection of Dr. Cheifetz to lead this group was based on his outstanding accomplishments with the development of the VCU School of Medicine – Inova Campus\, while maintaining the highest level of quality education at Inova.

This program supports INCspire’s mission to provide business education\, support\, and mentorship to startup and emerging businesses in Fairfax County. The purpose of the BizMaker Grant Program is to promote inclusive entrepreneurship and a diversity of economic opportunities for businesses committed to job creation and revenue generation within Fairfax County. \nQualifying organizations are encouraged to apply to the program by completing the application below. Applicants will have an opportunity to submit details regarding an innovative product\, design\, service\, or technology that they are looking to develop and/or expand. Grant awards will be provided to fund qualified business operations for entities operating within Fairfax County. Applicants will be provided access to local professional services firms who are available to address a variety of organization development needs. Grant awardees will participate in the incSpire mentoring program\, which provides access to selected industry leaders to help the awardees meet their targeted development goals. The top grant award will be $15\,000!
