The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors has appointed Pallabi Saboo, CEO of Harmonia Holdings Group, to the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority (FCEDA) Commission. The nine-member Commission, the Authority’s board of directors, is comprised of business people and ensures that the business community is well represented in the policymaking functions of the FCEDA.

“Fairfax County’s dedication to foster entrepreneurship is remarkable,” Saboo said. “Fairfax County gave me a new lease on life. My business grew more than 10-fold here. I am so looking forward to work with the FCEDA team and the other commissioners to give back to the community that gave me so much.”

Saboo is the CEO of Tysons-based Harmonia Holdings Group, with a track record of building and operating successful technology and technology-related services companies. She acquired Harmonia in 2006 and has grown it aggressively as it seeks to develop specialized technologies and technology-enabled services geared toward the federal sector. She is an entrepreneur with a unique understanding of technology, business and strategic issues.

“We are so fortunate to have business people of the caliber and background of Pallabi who can provide strategic direction to the Authority,” said Commission Chair Cathy Lange. “She brings a tremendous entrepreneurial spirit and knowledge of the Fairfax County business community that will be invaluable to our organization.”
